In our busy Fiverr IL office, a crucial figure ensures that everything operates smoothly behind the scenes. Meet Eddie, 45-year-old Maintenance Man. He lives in Jaffa with his wife and two children, and has been working for Michlol Solutions at Fiverr for a year. 

We meet on "Cleaners Appreciation Day". excited about this initiative Eddie remarks, "When you open slack and write #contact-ops I'm your go-to guy. Whether it's changing a light bulb, replacing a broken chair, or addressing a leak, I'll be there in a minute with my ladder. I take care of everything our Fiverr employees need."

After working as a subcontractor in several BIG tech campus projects, Eddie's journey has seen him work nights, gain experience, and move on from the construction business to digital marketing.

During COVID, he worked as a media buyer at a digital marketing company in Tel Aviv. However, the high-pressure nature of the role took a toll on his well-being. “Does construction of a building seem stressful to you? For me, it wasn't. But working with a big budget and striving for rapid results was very stressful, I couldn't sleep and my work-life balance was ruined. It impacted me, and it hurt my family." Recognizing the importance of prioritizing his family time - he transitioned away from that role to his current one.

Now, he proudly proclaims, "After years of construction of high-tech campuses and after working in digital marketing, I can say that the best thing I can do is working with my hands  at a tech company, rather than working infront of a screen."
