Mid-day in the bustling Fiverr Israel office, we sit down with Anna, a strong woman who embarked on a solo journey from Moldova to Israel in 2017.

After working for years as a cook in a kindergarten in Leova, she decided to seek better economic prospects in Israel, first in Haifa and now in Tel Aviv. But the separation from her loved ones weighs heavily on her heart. 💔

​

She hasn't seen her mother, her children, and her grandson in six long years. "I dream to go back and see them, my mother keeps asking me to return to Moldova, and my children call and ask me to visit them in Ireland but I can't. I'm here in Israel, it's a beautiful country and this is where I need to be now."

Anna finds some comfort in the supportive community she has found at Fiverr. She shares, "Even though I'm far from home and family, and my work is tough, I'm thankful for my health and the friends I have on Fiverr who treat me like family - Sara, Idan, and Andrey." 

​

She shares a simple message to all Fiverr employees, "If you put away your dishes and say thank you, it will make me super happy to do my job."  These small gestures of gratitude and acknowledgement, serve as a reminder that her hard work is valued.
